Macaroni Chikpea and cheese cutlet

Makes:- 20-25 cutlets Level of cooking:- Moderate
These cutlets are very delicious because it is made from many healthy and tasty ingredients. This is a perfect snack for get togethers and parties.
Ingredients
- Boiled Chikpeas (Garbanzo bean/ Kabuli chana) – 2/3 cup
- Boiled Potatoes- 2/3 cup
- Boiled Macaroni pasta- 1 cup
- Grated Cheese- 2/3 cup
- Fresh bread Crumbs- 1 and half cups (I used 6 breads)
- Oats- 1/2 cup
- Semolina (Sooji)- 2 tablespoons
- Turmeric powder- 1/4 teaspoon
- Red chilli powder- 1 teaspoon
- Garam Masala- 1 teaspoon
- Dry Mango Powder (Aamchur)- 1 teaspoon
- Grated Ginger- 1 teaspoon
- Green chillies- 2 chopped
- Fresh Coriander leaves- 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
Method
In a deep vessel add boiled chickpeas (Kabuli chana). Mash it lightly with your hands.
Add boiled macaroni to it and mash it also into small pieces. Then add boiled potatoes, semolina, cheese, bread crumbs and all the spices.
Mix it well and make a dough. Divide the dough into equal size portions.
Take one portion and make a smooth round ball, then roll and flatten it and keep it in a plate or tray. In the same way make all the cutlets.
Heat oil in a frypan. When its hot reduce the heat to medium to low then gently drop cutlets in it and fry it. Keep flipping the cutlets so that it will cook properly from all the sides. Increase the heat and fry it till golden in color. Remove it in a paper towel.
Serve hot with ketchup, chutney or any other dip.
