Milk Bread (Dinner Rolls)

A roll is a small, often round loaf of bread served as a meal accompaniment. Here is my bread rolls recipe which is easy to make and no machine is required. These bread rolls are soft, buttery, fluffy and a perfect addition to any table. Enjoy a warm and fresh bread right out of the oven.
Ingredients
- All purpose flour- 1.5 cups and 1/4 cup extra for dusting
- Butter- 2 tablespoons melted (salted or unsalted)
- Milk- 1/2 cup (luke warm)
- Egg- 1 large
- Sugar- 2 tablespoons
- Salt- 1/3 teaspoon
- Dry yeast- 1 tablespoon
- Egg white- 1 for brushing
Method
1.In a deep mixing bowl add melted butter, warm milk, sugar and salt. Mix it well with a spatula or a wooden spoon until well combined.
2.Add egg to the mixture and mix it well. Make sure the mixture is luke warm and not cold.
3.Now add dry yeast and give it a mix. Cover the bowl and let it sit for 2 minutes.
4.Add the flour to the mixture and mix it with spatula until well combined. At this time the dough will be very sticky. Cover the dough and let it rise for about an hour until it doubles in volume.
5.After 1 hour , knead the dough again with your hand for 2 minutes. Cover it and let it rest for another half an hour.
6.Again knead the dough for 1 minute and transfer the dough into a floured surface. Dust some dry flour and knead it well until it makes a smooth dough ball.
7.Divide the dough into 6 equal parts. Now take one part and roll in into a cylinder and make a knot of it and place the roll into a greased baking dish. Repeat the process with the remaining dough parts.
8.Cover the baking dish with a cloth and let it rise for an hour.
9.Preheat the oven at 170º celsius and gently brush the rolls with egg white mixture. Put them in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until light golden brown.
10.Remove it from the oven and serve hot or cold.
