  2. In the deep bowl, mix with an electric mixer the egg, salt, sugar and melted butter. Add milk, vanilla essence and yeast mixture and again beat it on high for a minute. Now add flour in two batches and switch to spatula and mix it well and knead it with your hand until you have a smooth dough. Oil the dough on top and place it in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap and place it in a warm place to rise for about 2 hours.
  3. In a small bowl, Mix together the Butter, brown sugar, plain sugar and cinnamon powder for the filling and keep it aside.
  4. Butter the baking pan and keep it ready.
  5. After two hours, the dough will doubled in volume, punch the dough down and roll it out onto a floured surface into a 15×9″rectangle and brush the melted butter over it and spread the filling mixture (Butter,Sugar and Cinnamon mixture) evenly all over it. Tightly roll the dough..
  6. Cut the role into 4 equal parts then cut each part into 3 to 4 even slices. You will get 14-16 even slices and place them cut side down in a well buttered baking pan. Cover with plastic wrap and put them back into a warm place again to rise for an hour.
  7. Meanwhile preheat your oven to 170ºC
  8. Once risen, brush them with some melted butter and bake them for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. While the cinnamon rolls cool for a few minutes make the glaze. Mix all the ingredients of the glaze in a bowl except the milk, once the cream cheese, butter and Icing sugar are all mixed, slowly add the milk until you get a runny glaze consistency. Immediately pour the glaze over the cinnamon rolls. Enjoy cinnamon rolls with coffee or tea.
